My old plug had gotten brittle and wouldn’t seal, but this red replacement twists in firmly and holds tight with the included O-ring. Took me under a minute to swap it out on my Dash 5.0, and the fit is exactly right.

The O-ring fit snugly over the valve on my Dash 3.5, and the red plug twists out with just enough resistance to feel secure. Install took me under a minute, no tools needed. My old one was starting to leak, so this replacement has been a solid fix.

The red plug pops out with a simple twist and seats snugly on the first try, and that included O-ring is a perfect match for my Dash 5.0. Took maybe ten seconds to swap in, and it's held tight through three washes since.
