From understanding its dimensions to exploring its key features, we'll help you determine if this kennel is the right investment for your furry friend. We'll also compare it to other options like the CRaTE Kennel and the T1 Low Profile Kennel, so you can make an informed choice.

Why Choose the G3 X-Large Framed Kennel?

The G3 X-Large Framed Kennel is engineered for dogs that need extra space. With its sturdy aluminum frame and durable panels, it provides a secure and comfortable environment for breeds like Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and German Shepherds. The kennel's design emphasizes both strength and portability, making it a favorite among pet owners who travel or show their dogs.

One of the standout features is its easy assembly. The frame snaps together without tools, and the panels slide into place, so you can set it up in minutes. This is a huge advantage over traditional wire kennels that require complicated setups. Additionally, the G3 X-Large is compatible with various accessories, such as the Dash 3.5 Gallon Water System, ensuring your dog stays hydrated during long trips.

• Tool-free assembly for quick setup
• Lightweight yet durable aluminum frame
• Compatible with a range of accessories

G3 X-Large Kennel Dimensions and Sizing

When selecting a kennel, size is paramount. The G3 X-Large measures approximately 42 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 32 inches high. This provides ample room for your dog to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably. It's specifically designed for breeds weighing between 70 and 90 pounds, making it a versatile choice for many large breeds.

To ensure the perfect fit, measure your dog from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail, and from the floor to the top of their head. Add a few inches to both measurements to ensure they have enough space. The G3 X-Large offers that extra room, which is especially important for dogs that like to stretch out while sleeping.

• Ideal for dogs 70-90 lbs
• Dimensions: 42"L x 28"W x 32"H
• Allows standing, turning, and lying down

Key Features and Benefits

The G3 X-Large Framed Kennel is packed with features that enhance both functionality and safety. Its aluminum frame is not only lightweight but also resistant to rust and corrosion, ensuring longevity even with outdoor use. The panels are made of high-impact plastic, which is chew-resistant and easy to clean.

Another notable feature is the door design. The door opens from the top, allowing for easy access and reducing the risk of your dog escaping. The kennel also comes with a locking mechanism that secures the door firmly. For added security, you can replace the standard lock with the Replacement Lock for Frame Door Kennels, which offers enhanced durability.

• Rust-resistant aluminum frame
• Chew-resistant plastic panels
• Top-opening door for easy access

Comparing G3 X-Large with Other Kennels

While the G3 X-Large is an excellent choice, it's worth comparing it to other popular kennels. The CRaTE – “Canine Rough and Tough Economy” Kennel Large is a more budget-friendly option, but it lacks the portability and premium materials of the G3. On the other hand, the T1 Low Profile Kennel is designed for dogs that prefer a lower height, making it suitable for breeds like Bulldogs.

If you're looking for a complete setup, the Deluxe Kennel Package includes the G3 X-Large along with essential accessories like a water system and bowl, saving you time and money. This package is ideal for first-time kennel owners who want everything they need in one purchase.

• CRaTE Kennel: budget-friendly but less portable
• T1 Low Profile: better for shorter breeds
• Deluxe Kennel Package: all-in-one solution

Accessories to Enhance Your G3 X-Large

To get the most out of your G3 X-Large, consider adding accessories that improve comfort and convenience. The Dash 3.5 Gallon Water System is a great addition, providing a steady supply of fresh water without the need for constant refills. It attaches easily to the kennel's side, making it perfect for travel.

Another useful accessory is the Dakota 283 Ratchet Strap, which helps secure the kennel in your vehicle during transport. This strap ensures the kennel stays stable, reducing the risk of injury in case of sudden stops. Additionally, the Replacement Dash Series Drain Plug is handy for draining and cleaning the water system, ensuring hygiene.

• Dash 3.5 Gallon Water System for hydration
• Dakota 283 Ratchet Strap for secure travel
• Replacement Dash Series Drain Plug for easy cleaning
